FAQ, Prices and Packages

Q: How do I book my wedding?
An initial deposit of $150 is required to confirm and secure your wedding date. Once your deposit is received, your booking is confirmed.

Q: Can I make an appointment to view your work and talk about our wedding photography?
Absolutely! Please call 0438 308 167 or alternatively you can fill out the contact form and Lesley will get back to you asap.

Q: Where are you located and what areas do you service?
Lesley Tweedie Photography is located on the Redcliffe Peninsula, only ½ hour drive from Brisbane. Lesley and her team are happy to travel anywhere for your wedding day. She even accepts wedding bookings for overseas (insert: Lesley loves holidays!)

Q: Do you charge extra for travel?
All prices are based on weddings in the Redcliffe and Brisbane area. If travelling outside of this area is necessary for your wedding,a travel fee may be charged.

Q: When can we come in for an appointment?
The studio is open by appointment only. Please contact Lesley to make a time to come in and view her collection of work, and discuss a suitable package especially for you.

Q: What packages do you offer?
There are 3 great value packages, each offering either High Resolution Disc only or Dream Album options FOREVER, EVERLASTING & ETERNAL - see further down for details. The Dream Album options come with complimentary 16 page credit towards your Dream Wedding Album. You may also be eligible for great bonuses such as free purse size Album, Acrylic mounts, High Res Disc or even more free pages. You might like to add items such as: engagement sessions, parents albums, additional DVD's set to music, thank you cards etc. Lesley will go through all the details with you to help you own the best memories of your wedding day.

Q: Can we get a DVD of the images?
Sure, talk to Lesley about this when you make an appointment.

Q: Do you shoot digital?
Lesley shoots exclusively digital. Digital photography offers her more flexibility and spontaneity as well as the precise control that a photographer needs. Everything you see in this site was shot digitally. With digital images she can easily correct for exposure fluctuations, image imperfections and add a variety of special effects that allows her to make each individual image a work of art. This helps keep your investment low because there are no costs associated with traditional film and processing.

Q: Do you work on the images?
Each image will be adjusted for optimal brightness, contrast, colour balance, saturation and sharpness. Additionally, a selection of images are chosen and special digital filters are used to bring out the story that that particular image has to express.

Q: How many photographers will there be?
That depends on the package you order and the size of your wedding. On most occasions, Lesley will have a 2nd 'shooter' to help capture the action from two different angles. They work together as a team capturing the best moments of your day without missing any special details.

Q: Can my family and friends order prints and canvases etc?
Yes, they are most welcome to place an order by adding their favourite images to your order or they can contact Lesley directly and she will look after them for you.

Additional coverage of the wedding is available
Extra photography is available on an hourly rate basis. This may be necessary if you would like your wedding photography on a day other than your actual wedding day, or your photography requirements cannot be completed during the above mentioned wedding package timeframes.
